Around the Center

Ticketnet issued tickets unannounced so the scalpers were able to grab them for a huge profit. The only option available to us was to fall in line early in the morning in Ateneo. I arrived at 6am and there was already 354 people ahead of me. Nonetheless, the wait was fun since conversations with fellow Ateneans are always pleasant and welcome.

This was the first time i lined up in Ateneo. Apparently, it is customary for some people to wait in line a day before the tickets are distributed. I heard that a person fell in line at 10am the previous day. I guess they deserve to be able to get first dibs on what tickets are available. I sure hope that these tickets are worth the wait Then again, the Ateneo-Alsalle game is always a great game to watch.

The ateneo-la salle game just ended and WE WON!!! Go Ateneo!! Freakingly crazy last minute! We were behind by 5 with 2 minutes remaining in the game.  Then the next thing i know was that we just took the lead with 7 seconds remaining and the la sallites have the ball. They flubbed the last shot and even the rebound! Nonetheless, as my friend said, we only lost the last game just so that we would get the chance to thrash the UST team as payback for last year

Anyway, sudden death game is this sunday and my neighborhood will again be full of cars with passengers either in green or blue. I really do think that a shirt saying “I bleed blue” is much better than one with “Gang Green.” Im taking more pictures!

Lots of pretty ladies cheering for their school. Sorry girl readers but i only noticed the members of the opposite sex. Do note that it is all just plain fun rivalry. One of my closest and oldest friend is from La Salle. Good game Gang Green!

If you notice, there was this group of visitors who were wearing Ateneo colors. I dont know what the story behind it was but hey, the more cheerers for my team the better
